Attitude Adjustment

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference, I couldn't agree more because all of us need attitude adjustment at times and an attitude is the result of changing the way we think. If we keep our attitude up and positive, w'l continue to climb higher and higher in life and able to soar. but if our attitude are down and negative we will fall and stay on the ground of life. let's wake up and act more stop waiting Youthzones to do things for us, together we can make it.

One never knows who s/he befriends or ignores

Is amazing how attitude can affect one's future. One will never know who he or she befriend or ignores in life. I got so many examples whereby one's attitude affects one's chances to progress in life. Don't wait for someone to promise you first, before you react possitively.

Start reacting possitively so that you can be noticed. I would like to encourage everyone of us to talk less and Act more without being promised of getting something.

If you are asked to perform something or you see something has to be done without income. It can be even volunteering or training to be performed, go for it. That is your expossure that shows you can do things.

Like myself, I was asked to come for Admin training at YouthZones for the whole…

Skills and Reputation

We always say "every day is a job interview", the small things show our capacity and attitude.

My advice: Whatever you do, fight to become skilled, fight to build a reputation as a hard worker and someone reliable. Such people are in high demand. Men and women.

Today for the second time in a month, someone told me they have a good job for someone. The person needs a driver's license, admin skills, ability to write and speak English and be reliable.

For…

Writing things down during the meeting or team planing discussion it's very important thank you Youthzones team you guys really helped me lot.

Writing things down seems to really help me not to forget and learn. for example, I have found that writing a list of the positive point about a situation or a person, writing down helps me remain joyful and avoid seeing things out of proportion. After I make such a list I sometimes carry it with me so I can refer to it every time, or I go over it each morning. This helps me when I'm tempted to give place to wrong thinking. I call it FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT OF…

Mbuzini and Drieskoppies becomes the new youthzones sites in Mpumalanga

Schalk and myself spent our week meeting our new friends at the new two established youthzones sites in Nkomazi region in Mpumalanga. Mbuzini is a very remote impoverished community and the beauty of this windy area is that is situated at the mountains separated by the border of Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa and it is also where one can easily visit Samora Machel Memorial. Driekoppies however is bit different and is more still rural and surrounded by beautiful sugar cane plantation…
