HOW SPORT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE

I was born in Qwa Qwa but came to Intabazwe when I was 4 years with my mother. Started my primary school and made friends around the location, I used to be a shy one amongst my friends and always kept to myself. When I was in standard 3 I met a friend whom we are still friends even today - Motseki a.k.a Slow-jam; he told me that there is a family football  team and he invited me to training and that is when I started the love for soccer.  The team's name was Lions FC and that is where I started…See More

UNIFORM AND CASUAL CLOTHING DONATIONS FOR THE NEEDY

Last year during this time of the or maybe earlier as we were heading to winter, we wrote letters to different companies asking them to help us with uniforms and casual clothing for needy children in our location. Our focus was on primary schools especially those that have children from poor families, we made a research from four primaries that we have and going around the location verifying the information that we are having that is correct or not. After the research we sent the letters to…See More

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS MINI-TOURNEY

We had a mini-tourney during school holidays to keep the youth busy, the code we had were netball, basketball and five-aside football. We categorized the teams according to sections we had in our location - 8 sections. Even though it did not start in a way that we were expecting but it was a success, we were denied entry at the sports complex because we are not members of the political party that runs the municipality even though we had a letter from the municipality to use the facilities. But…See More

I live in the area where when we were growing up, the elders will be telling you that is the peaceful place of them all. The name of the place was called Phomolong at first then the name was changed to Intabazwe on the late nineties. And the reason was that as we live at top of 42nd hill…

it was an honour  for me to assist all my friends of Intabazwe showing my willingness to the young kids.I am looking forward to draft the league for the girls, which can start earlier next year.It is nice to hear that there's a progress in the community that shows your dedication.
