The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) is offering bursaries for the 2014 academic year to students interested in pursuing a career in SANSA related fields and who aim to study full time towards a post graduate university degree in:
- Systems Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Information technology
- Maths, Physics and Computer Science
- Space related studies
- Space Science
- Earth Systems Science
- Remote Sensing
- Electronic Engineering
- Satellite Engineering
The main criteria is academic merit.
Applicants should be able to indicate a project and supervisor within the above mentioned fields when applying. University transcripts and project titles are compulsory for the application.
Applications are open to young South African citizens who have demonstrated academic potential, an interest in the above fields and a desire to contribute to the South African Space Landscape.
SANSA bursary values are as follows:
Hons –R45 000
Masters–R88 000
PhD–R110000

Mondi Bursary for BSc Forestry at Stellenbosch University
Requirements:
Must be a South African citizen
Solid academic record for 1st semester BSc Forestry at Stellenbosch University
Must have a Driver’s license or must obtain a license before being placed in a plantation
Preference will be given to HDSA (historically disadvantaged South African) students
Completed application forms must be submitted by no later than 15th September each year.

Certified copy of Matric certificate
Certified copy of Identification Document and Driver’s license
