This past weekend in Cosmo City something special happened. Teams from Mabopane, Katlehong and Soweto arrived in full rigour at Sgodiphola Secondary School (Blue Roof) to represent their Youthzones and acclaim bragging rights of being the champions. The day started off well with youth teams namely under 13 and 15 teams from Cosmo City warming the atmosphere before the intense dual would start.

Once the curtain was raised, no bars were held and friends became opponents for the duration of the tournament. The crowd came in numbers and supported the event. Cosmo City Conquerors(CCC) were victorious in an unpredictable penalty shoot out against the team from Soweto.

After the soccer, we hosted a braai at the Oasis Youth House were K1 United, 3D Dance Group, players from Royal Gunners, FC Shibobo, CCC and Ikage mingled with each other.

I'd like to first of all thank Schalk and Doc for making the event possible, FC Shibobo for hosting the event and making sure that everyone feels welcome  and last but not least all the teams and everyone who made it to the event. Through collaboration we can create a better Mzansi.
