Irrespective of all the success of the Xstrata league and exclusion of political interferences, the youths in Ikemeleng, both male & females decided to have their own sports awards with pride. They are doing all this as their own initiative and moral boosting move to show that life can be transformed through sport, life skills, IT and Enterprise Development and sharing hence Xstrata league was more than about football but also involved the above mentioned activities. The ceremony was definitely not be to show off, not of very high quality but it was pride driven, authentic and coming from the people of the community who could have been at the other side of life.
