Creating a better Mzansi through sport and development

Every now and then we all make mistakes. Some more often then others. This past week I overlooked a shelf of computers and wrote them off as missing. I told my superior about it and got on with my day. His worry was intense and I could notice it over the phone. I got about 5 calls in an hour just asking about them. They were found the next day and I felt relieved. I wrote off the incident as a now, since they were found where they were said to be.

Only later that evening when I got his sms it dawned on me how deep rooted the concern was. I sincerely apologised but doubt that the spoken word do justice to compensate the downward spiral of emotions he went through. The fact that I dismissed the incident as a joke probably didnt help much.

I'm owning up to him and others I might of affected... Sorry.
