Today (5th of May 2013) prize giving to the well deserved soccer teams went well with bit of lessons for the day. The teams participated in the Ubuntu soccer league consisting of 15 soccer teams. These soccer teams  earned points not only by winning games but also starting their own initiatives e.g. internet cafes, spaza shops, pre-schools, learning computers,cleaning campaigns  having social responsibilities. This was just morale boosting event since we are in the beginning of the second round. The league is going well but it is taking sometimes for the lads to get everything right since this is new for them. Eight out of fifteen teams attended the event and other teams didn't. The absentees were not motivated to come because so any so called donors/sponsors played around and promise these guys things and never do it but they enjoy playing their games and always play. But for couple of times we prove to be the opposite as friends who do what we say. And the absentees learnt their lessons today as all the teams were present received two soccer balls each. Mountain United, Mantjantja and Real Movers FC each received a laptop and ball. Then Dangerous Darkies received four soccer balls and R300. Ghana, Summerboys, Master City, Freedom Stars each received 2 soccer balls. This is not the end of the road, Aluta Continua.
