Arsenal Gap Year

Two Arsenal Gap Year community coaches were in Manica, Mozambique for four months volunteering. Adam Tarant and Drew Tyler spent their time coaching youth football, English, Life-Skills and Computer Literacy.

Feedback from Teramai after Manica Mutare Exchange

The exchange game with our friends from Manica (GDM) went on very, very well. It was so refreshing to meet with all those friends, the likes of Nelson, Waru Waru and that music guy!! It was also good to see the re-union of Bruce, Pingi and myself as we took time to remind each other of our unforgettable 2010 World Cup experiences!!! Life Skills in Zimbabwe

This past week was one of those when I was proud of myself, my colleagues and our supporters. Why am I proud? Because we stuck to our guns (as a manner of speech) in including our neighbouring countries in the Youth Zone Legacy Network Program. Through the Manican participants, Mutare Utd was incorporated into the program and the twinning relationship growing on either side of the border seems to be turning into something special.
