Just like last time, it happens right here on www.youthzones.co.za and the prime objective is to get young people to share their thoughts and express your thoughts and feelings through blogs. It can be a poem, song, story or even a relevant picture.

You can choose which topic you want to write on from the 5 listed below;

*Hustle for Cash, entrepreneurship in the township (#hustle)

*HIV Aids as part of our daily lives (#hiv)

* (#lgbt)

*Leadership Success Stories (#lead)

*Gender Issues: women face challenges and solutions  (#gender)

*Crime and corruption (#crime)

When you write, please DO NOT forget to put the (hash tag# and the topic) e.g. #gender and the title! Failure to do that, your blog will be considered as ordinary and not part of the competition.

Lots of prizes worth over R100,000 will be given out EVERY week and these include footballs, smartphones and data.

Winners will be notified weekly through this website. Competition runs until February 2017.

This competition is sponsored by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Views in blogs or comments do not represent their views and editorial administration is conducted by Youthzones.

IMPORTANT:

Although we encourage healthy comments and debate, any personal insults or fighting will be removed and members blocked. This has to be a safe space where we discuss with sensitivity, maturity and respect

A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger

"A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be. "There is a difference between being a leader and being a boss. Both are based on authority. A boss demands blind obedience; a leader earns his authority through understanding and trust. "You get in life what you have the courage to ask for. "In the end, it is important to remember that we cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are. "We're here for a reason. I believe a bit of the reason is to throw little torches out to lead people through the dark. "A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger; a leader is someone willing to give his strength to others so that they may have the strength to stand on their own.

HAVE SYMPHATHY AND GIVE WITH LOVE AND CARING

When giving (even with a counter contributer) Remember there`s NO JESUS JUNK! What is Jesus Junk? it is stuff people donate because they are too lazy to dump it at an official garbage dump, so they drop all their broken or ugly staff at church or a charity!

Don`t give a broken computer or dirty things. Give things that people will love and it will last for after giving them away. A second hand cell phone that works is great because it will give the affection of love and a great asset, as is second hand football boots if they are still in good shape and working in order and not so torn.

The Learning Leader..............you will have o positive impact as far as you are currently undergoing personal change and developing yourself!

HAND ON AND HAND UP

The future of our country lies in the hands of (YOUTHFUL LEADERS) who may need to learn essential life skills needed for business.

The joy in talking the time to mentor someone lies in witnessing and enabling their gradual growth, then basking in their glory when they move ahead.

Part of good succession planning in business is ensuring that there are those to take over you.

Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.
