I am very proud to notify all Youthzones of the great achievement made by one of Mutare Youthzones members, Tichaona Mabvura, who is now turning out for Zimbabwe’s biggest, most supported and successful football club, DYNAMOS F.C. At only 19, Ticha has turned out to be a revelation at the club and has already been registered to play in the CAF Champions League!!! He also has earned 4 caps to both the national football Under 20s & Under 23s teams. Just a couple of months ago, he was turning out for Mutare United F.C and has confessed to me that he benefitted immensely from the life-skills and other important lessons he got from Schalk and Doc during their visits to Mutare. As I always say, you guys are doing great work and here is just one testimony. Ticha’s wish is to play in one of the top teams in South Africa then break into one of the European leagues. Just last week, he was instrumental in the team lifting its first trophy of the season, the Net-one Charity Shield. It was amazing to see him on the front page of most newspapers lifting the trophy with his teammates. Almost every week, an article or two is written about this youngster and we are very proud of his achievements. I would like to wish him well in all his endeavors at Dynamos, which also happens to be the local team I have supported since childhood!!! I hope most of you will be inspired by this, IT IS POSSIBLE.
