Creating a better Mzansi through sport and development

On Tuesday i went with i was invited to go to Parliament wit Laureus and the rest of the guys of the Sport Science Institute. I was head over hills exited it. We arrived and where warmly welcomed by some ladies who was dancing and worshiping in the smaller gallery. The Gathering and debate of this to welcome our South African Olympic athletes who just returned from the London Olympics. For me it was an great honour to be in the present of all the ministers and especially the minister of sport and recreation Mr Fikile Mbalula. All the minister had a chance to congratulate the athletes and all the inspirational speeches they did was mind blowing but yet so common and true. I quote Sport has the power to change lives for good and its not how good you are but how good you wanna become.

Cool. Tx for sharing Charl. What is interesting to me is not just how top sport can be inspirational but how social sports can change lives if we partake in it with maturity, friendship, sportsmanship and a cool attitude. For me the main point is how sport can bring us together, which makes over competitiveness or fighting in sport so sad.
