What is the use of people/learners to have grade12/matric certificates in their homes/hands??? Or is it because of these certificates are there to decorate homes and are there as a symbol of showing we have accomplished Grade12! Despite the fact that we have matric certificate, but it doesn't  requires us to be in an institution (tertiary) because of the scoring points we have doesn't meet the required maximum points, but the fact is that we have matric certificate so what are they for?? Are they useless. Majority of people in our community/S.A are sitting there doing nothing with their certificates. But then what does the government do with these issues??? Because it is not only Varsities that can accommodate people who have Grade12...if we could have afforded to pay for our fees we would have gone to colleges but the unfortunate part of it is that we can't afford to pay for our fees, though colleges accept people who have matric as long as they pay. We know there are bursaries in our country but for whom??? People who qualify for Universities (Bachelors)???  There are those who have obtained matric with diploma and school leaving and those are the ones who are denied freedom to higher institution and bursaries. It is not all of us who can obtain matric with a bachelor although we are trying but we some of us  are being denied  to apply for bursaries though we have been admitted from tertiaries still it is a problem for us to get bursaries from our government because our points doesn't meet the required score. I am talking on behalf of our citizens because I have experienced the very same issue, so since there aren't no one to raise this issue I am. "They say the future is in our hands" but then what can we do when the future is taking out of our hands? It is our parents wishes and dreams to see us succeeding through education because they are the ones who have been supportive all these years. What should we do with these matric certificates if they are useless???  EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFULL WEAPON WHICH WE CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD!!!:said Nelson Mandela
