I have been in Johannesburg for the past four (4) days, visiting Youthzones, and also part of a training program that will finish this Friday afternoon. I stay with a couple of interesting fellows from around the country. And all has been great so far, and I appreciate the friendly space that we have among each other, very willing to work together, understanding one another, representing our different provinces and celebrating our differences.

I like it here, I even said, I believe they will have to drag me to the airport Friday, as I am having a great time. Site seeing has been great (last night we visited BIGGER LOVE FC, in Magalisburg), the interaction very refreshing, and the time the Youthzones Staff has devoted to us is amazing.

On another note, I am from Cape Town, heading the Youthzone Site in the Helderberg. And we are full of gratitude as far as our friendship with the Youthzoes team is concerned. You guys are awesome and we really appreciate you. As I thought of this blog this morning, I remember the words of our 2nd great President, Honourable Thabo Mbeki, in the early 1990s, where he said “"Whoever we may be, whatever our immediate interest, however much we carry baggage from our past, however much we have been caught by the fashion of cynicism and loss of faith in the capacity of the people, let us err today and say - nothing can stop us now!"
