Hi youthzones everyone who works nd doing great job in different sites chosen by youthzones in uplifting their communities. I would like to share my devastating story with u and the advices from the experience I encountered whilie I was at some other complex not far to my village. I was approached by 3 guys who looked not suspicious men, my cuzin nd some old guy they looked like they where working on atms of standard bank nd by the time you approach the ATM they pretend as if they are there to help you as already they have sabotaged the machine nd the card slot so that u wouldn't be able to put in your card and suddenly they will demand that they help u with the card nd because it was in a place where ther where so many people and by their look you will think they are standard bank ATM assistant. They all 3 of them separated themselves to ATMs nd they will like let's help u with the card cause by yourself u would hve struggled to put the card into the card machine you would approve their help and the moment you give them the card he shows u something up in the machine so that you could shift your eyesight slightly and that the guy indeed put the card in the machine. They would shift so that you to put your pin no though you would think they did as they made u believe they shifted only to find out they did not nd saw your pin wen u struggled to put it many times to let the transaction go on only to find the machine is been sabotaged. They left out nd suspectedly I rushed me and my cuzin to call for them and they pointed us with guns get in the car nd flew unfortunately by the time I ddnt have my phone nd my cuzin was from school so he forgot to switch on his fone after school. We then report the matter to the assistant manager nd wat she responded to us was this was not the first time happening so I tried to ask for a fone to report my stolen card nd by the I did that coz the standard bank call assistance took time to answer my fone the guys withdrew R2000 from my account and swiped other R1760 and R259 respectively and wat suprises me is the time difference from the scene where they where and the time they went to do all things because the difference according to my notificatio is three minutes but by that time they took all my money nd my cuzins R500 I do not exaxtly how much from the old man. Fortunately the complex have cameras and I did see the footage and they ask me to open a case of fraud which I did to the police and I even went to the Bank and they did the same by opening a fraud investigation which they said they will call me after 10 working days. I am glad me and other victims where not hurt coz the moment they pointed us with guns it was so traumatic but by God grace they just flew without even hurting anyone in this case life is precious nd vital that money. My advice to you fellow youthzones family is never ever accept help from anyone should you struggle with operating the ATM machine, should the machine give you problems go inside the branch to ask for help and do not entirely trust the security guard as some are working with the criminals.
