Leadership Success Stories #lead

This leadership success story is about my father, Dr Norman Bantwini “Totose” Ngcipe.

 

He was born in Somerset East, Eastern Cape (10 November 1955). He enrolled to study Medicine at the University of Natal -Wentworth in 1976. He fulfilled the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1981, at the age of 26 and commenced his internship at Edendale hospital, Pietermaritzburg in 1982.

I love working with teenagers. We were faced with lots of challenges as teenagers when I was younger, but today’s teenagers face even more challenges for example the loss of Ubuntu, crime, teenage pregnancy, alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, peer pressure, lack of self-worth, etc. For these teenagers, having someone you can trust to talk to and share your fears with is very important.…
