The September–October edition of Sustainable Impact Insights highlights incredible moments from the Ziyawa 2025 Netball Tournament at the Gijima Action Sport Arena.
The tournament united passionate Senior and Under-14 teams in competition driven through purpose — promoting Reading and Fair Play, while standing firmly against GBV, Substance Abuse, and Littering.
Gijima Training Academy were crowned Senior Champions after a gripping final against Welkom Real Stars FC, while the Dream Girls from Winterveld/Soshanguve Youthzones claimed the Under-14 title. The event also featured a screening of our short film Strike!, inspiring youth to become agents of positive change.
Special congratulations to Amukelani Nkuna, Security/Sport intern and team captain, who earned Best Player and Best Goalkeeper — and has since begun a new career journey within Bidvest Protea Coin.
