''Good morning family. I would like to share information with you, the pictures I'm sharing is my son he went to Cape Town to play for the Volleyball National Team. They left Gauteng on Saturday and today the games are starting. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Youthzones for the support, I really appreciate IT''.--Disebo one of our Youthzones leaders in Zenzele informal settlements.
Meet Mpho Makau who is doing grade 12 at Lukhanyo Secondary School under Gauteng West District started playing Volleyball early this year, at Cluster League Games. The coach started realizing his potential and got selected to play at District Games to Regional then qualified for Provincial high level, he now plays for under 17 National Team representing Team Gauteng.
At Youthzones, we recognize that a safe and equitable society is one where young people feel valued and where they have hope because of real opportunities and choices available to them.
So we are super proud of Disebo for being an anchor to her son in this stormy sea of life!!!
And we wish Mpho all the best!!!!
