Leadership Success Stories (#lead)

If you can keep your head when

all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it

on you,

If you can trust yourself when all

men doubt you,

But make allowance for their

doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired

by waiting,

Or being lied about, don’t deal in

lies,

Or being hated, don’t give way to

hating,

And yet don’t look too good, nor

talk too wise:

If you can dream – and not

make dreams your master,

invest your energy wisely

We tended to make every issue an important issue and that one has to be careful about which battles to fight. In the bigger scheme of things, there are certain issues that are worth getting worked up about and there are others that are just not worth it. The key is to choose carefully which things you are going to invest your energies in. Life is about choice.

You'll know when you find it.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.

HAVE SYMPHATHY AND GIVE WITH LOVE AND CARING

When giving (even with a counter contributer) Remember there`s NO JESUS JUNK! What is Jesus Junk? it is stuff people donate because they are too lazy to dump it at an official garbage dump, so they drop all their broken or ugly staff at church or a charity!

Don`t give a broken computer or dirty things. Give things that people will love and it will last for after giving them away. A second hand cell phone that works is great because it will give the affection of love and a…

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
True friendship multiplies the good in life and divides its evils. Strive to have friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island... to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune; to keep him is a blessing.

The world is yours

The world is ours and we can be anything we want to be as long as we apply hard work, have self-discipline and taking personal responsibilities. If we doing something we have to put our whole mind into it, we have to do it properly and we don't accept half measures. We make a living by what we earn and we make a life by what we give.

Always rememeber the people involved

We must always remember the people involved. A company that is poor on people is a dead company, because the company is the people. Sometimes as leaders we say in fancy terms that our greatest asset is our people, but then we turn around and we treat them inappropriately. If we say people are our greatest asset, where do we put them on our balance sheet- on the liabilities side or on the asset side?

A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger

  1. "A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be.
  2. "There is a difference between being a leader and being a boss. Both are based on authority. A boss demands blind obedience; a leader earns his authority through understanding and trust.
  3. "You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.
  4. "In the end, it is important to remember that we cannot become what we need to be by…

HAND ON AND HAND UP

The future of our country lies in the hands of (YOUTHFUL LEADERS) who may need to learn essential life skills needed for business.

The joy in talking the time to mentor someone lies in witnessing and enabling their gradual growth, then basking in their glory when they move ahead.

Part of good succession planning in business is ensuring that there are those to take over you.
